Discrimination of People with Unique Plugs

Body modification has come a long way in the last two decades. Currently, there are people who are allowed to work in the offices with body modifications that would not have been allowed 20 years ago. This development in acceptance has been highly appreciated by body modification practitioners in the country. Moreover, this has given people more freedom in the types of changes they would want on their body. However, there is some discrimination that is experienced towards people with unique plugs or jewelry ear plugs of sizes lower than 12g. This article will try to tackle this issue by try to show circumstances under which a company may discriminate against such jewelry ear plugs.

This article is not conclusive and I do not myself claim to have a lot of expertise in this field, but it is common knowledge that people with 12g-00g are experiencing some kind of discrimination in the workplace or even in some societies in this country. Many people who have such piercing on the ears would have lower chances of passing an interview. This may be as a result of stereotyping people with such unique plugs. Most people would associate people with extreme body modification as being rebellious against the popular culture or as belonging to some gang. This type of stereotyping that an interviewer might hold makes it difficult for people with extreme body piercing to get employed.

For this reason, BMA Modified makes 12g-18g jewelry ear plugs that might have much acceptance in the workplace or in the society than other larger organic plugs in the store. These organic plugs are made from different organic materials and you can find wooden ear plugs, stone plugs and other unique plugs on bmamodified.com.
